1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the A&E Trading platform, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. A&E Trading reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Eligibility & Registration

To use our platform, you must be at least 18 years of age and provide accurate, complete registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. A&E Trading reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies or provide false information during registration.

3. Bidding & Auction Rules

All bids placed on our platform are legally binding commitments to purchase. Once a bid is accepted or an auction is won, the buyer is obligated to complete the transaction. Bid manipulation, shill bidding, or any form of fraudulent bidding activity is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

Unsuccessful bids do not incur any charges. However, winning bidders must complete payment within the specified timeframe or risk forfeiture of their security deposit.

4. Payments & Fees

All payments must be made in accordance with the fee schedule outlined on our platform. Payments are processed in Japanese Yen (JPY) unless otherwise specified. A&E Trading is not responsible for currency conversion losses or bank transfer fees incurred by the buyer.

Payment Window: All payments must be completed within 3 business days of a successful purchase. Late payments may result in cancellation of the transaction and forfeiture of the security deposit.

Bank Charges: Buyers are fully responsible for all third-party wire transfer charges. Final invoice amounts are subject to change if bank fees are not accounted for.

Refund Policy: Refunds are only issued in cases of verified platform errors or vehicle misrepresentation. All refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date.

5. Security Deposit

A security deposit is required to activate bidding privileges on our platform. The deposit amount varies based on your account tier and bidding limit. Deposits are fully refundable provided no active bids or pending transactions exist on your account. A&E Trading reserves the right to withhold deposits in cases of policy violations or fraudulent activity.

6. Vehicle Condition & Inspection

All vehicles listed on our platform are sold based on their auction grade and inspection reports. A&E Trading does not independently verify the condition of every vehicle. Buyers are strongly encouraged to review all available inspection reports and photos before placing bids. Vehicles are sold on an as-is basis unless otherwise stated.

7. Shipping & Export

A&E Trading coordinates shipping and export documentation on behalf of buyers. However, buyers are solely responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs clearance in their destination country. Estimated shipping timelines are provided as a guide only and are subject to change due to port conditions, customs delays, or other factors beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

A&E Trading shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform. Our total liability in any matter related to the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform and reserve the right to perform maintenance at any time.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security against unauthorized access.

10. Account Termination

A&E Trading reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to the integrity of our marketplace. Users may also request account deletion at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, all pending transactions must be resolved before account closure.
